Greenlight offers two weekend Story Time sessions for kids and families.
Saturday Story Time (for kids ages 3 to 8)
11:00 AM Every Saturday
Saturday Story Time is geared toward kids ages 3 to 8 and their families. Authors and illustrators of picture books often visit us on Saturdays to read from their new books, and neighborhood performers sometimes read as well. There are always great stories and sometimes activities and crafts too! Check the Events Calendar for scheduled Story Time authors and events.
Sunday Story Time (for babies and toddlers)
11:00 AM Every Sunday
On Sunday mornings, a rotating cast of children's performers take turns keeping babies and toddlers under 3 years old entertained with stories, songs, and interactive play. See below for some of the talented folks who regularly host our Baby Story Time, and check our Events Calendar for an updated schedule of performances.

The Good Ms. Padgett The Good Ms. Padgett is the name given Anna Padgett by her Brooklyn,
New York preschool music students, and developed into a kids' band
performing songs and stories that are wise, joyful, and never
condescending, enjoyed by children and parents alike. Their new
album, The Good Ms. Padgett Sings The Little Red Hen and Other
Stories, was created as a way to actively engage her preschool and
Kindergarten students in the magic and drama of these favorite tales,
and the story/songs are funny, original, earnest and whimsical. |

Vered
Vered's
music is all about bonding with your little one. Her album, Good
Morning My Love, was named by Laurie Berkner, kid-music superstar and
fellow mom, as a 2011 favorite (USA Today) and is also a 2012 winner of
a Parents' Choice Gold Award! Through songs that encourage joyful
interaction, accompany daily routine, and give melody and words to the
emotional experience of the baby and parent, Vered's music lends a warm
and upbeat soundtrack to the nuances of life with a baby or small child.
The songs range from playful to emotive, gentle to silly, and sweet to
upbeat, mirroring the experience of the new parent. Vered is a musician,
music therapist and mom. She also runs workshops in which she provides
parents with musical and psychological tools to create a secure bond
