Pop-Up book creator Matthew Reinhart presents his books at Story Time!
World-renowned and award-winning pop up book artist Matthew Reinhart is the creator of Encyclopedia Mythologica, DC Super Heroes: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book, The Chronicles of Narnia Pop-Up, and many other wondrous and beautiful papercraft creations. We're lucky that Matthew lives right here in New York, and he'll be joining us at Greenlight's Story Time this Saturday! Reinhart's new pop-up series (to be released on Tuesday, August 23) features very simple bright art and cut-paper collage artwork. Puppies, Kitten, and Other Pop-Up Pets features pop-ups and lift-the-flap pictures of adorable puppies, kittens, and other pets at play, at work, and being mischievous. In Rescue: Pop-Up Emergency Vehicles, friendly people drive these accurate, yet simplified cars, trucks and other vehicles saving others from danger. Matthew will read his books to kids at Story Time, then sign copies of his beautiful masterpieces for them to take home and enjoy again and again!
Note: Author/illustrator Devon Kinch, who was originally scheduled for Story Time today, has had to postpone for scheduling reasons - we will try to reschedule her later in the season.
