Story Time: Celebrate Black History Month

In celebration of February as Black History Month, today’s story time features great picture books about African American people and history. We’ll read books about people like Marian Anderson (When Marian Sang), Martin Luther King, Jr. (My Uncle Martin’s Big Heart), and Hank Aaron (Henry Aaron’s Dream). And we’ll read inspirational books like I, Too, Am America by Langston Hughes and Of Thee I Sing by Barack Obama. Join us for a story time highlighting great contemporary picture books about black history. Ages 3 to 8.
