Small Spaces Design: A Panel Discussion with Authors & Architects
Featuring Mimi Zeiger, author of Tiny Houses
Brett Snyder from Cheng+Snyder Architects
John Nafziger and Sarah Strauss from Big Prototype
Margarita McGrath and Scott Oliver from NoRoof Architects

Designing smaller spaces has become an important topic in the world of architecture, as the desire to downsize and be more ecologically and economically prudent is a concept many are beginning to embrace – especially in urban areas like Brooklyn, where space is always at a premium. At this evening of discussion and demonstration, Fort Greene local author Mimi Zeiger, author of the books Tiny Houses and Micro Green, hosts a panel of eminent local architects talking about their perspectives on these compelling new ideas. Images of work by the firms Cheng+Snyder, Big Prototype, and NoRoof will be shown on the big screen during the discussion.
