Solid Objects is a publisher of fiction, drama, poetry, and nonfiction. It was founded in 2010 and is based in New York City, publishing at least three titles each year. Greenlight is honored to host Solid Objects for an evening of readings and mingling, with an introduction by editors Max Winter and Lisa Lubasch. Jake Bohstedt Morrill reads from “his taut and terrifying epistolary novella of toxicity between sisters” (Gary Lutz). Jim Shepard reads from his new novella, Master of Miniatures. Michael Schaub of Bookslut says that Shepard writes about “alienation and unbelonging better than pretty much anyone else in America today.” Michael Kupperman the cover artist for both Randy Bradley and Master of Miniatures will give a visual presentation of his jacket art for these two extraordinary books and give a short reading from his own work, Mark Twain's Autobiography 1910-2010. Wine and food will be served after the readings.
