Founded in April 2008, Brooklyn Flea has grown into one of New York City's top attractions, operating flea markets every weekend of the year, including the original weekly market here in Fort Greene. The Flea has garnered press and praise for its diversity and quality of vendors – from beer to popsicles to terrariums – and for the inclusive community aspects of the market's atmosphere. And some vendors, like those appearing at Greenlight tonight, even go on to write books! Join us for an evening with Flea vendors Brooklyn Brew Shop, People’s Pops, and Twig Terrariums to talk about their work and products, their books, and the Flea experience. The discussion will be moderated by the Flea’s co-founder Eric Demby, and followed by a reception featuring the Brooklyn Brew Shop’s Jalapeno Saison brew!
